Dear Resident,
Our newly appointed Area Commander for Peterborough and Fenland has described the role as his dream job as he oversees policing in the north of the county.
Superintendent Olly Warsop (pictured below) has been a police officer for 20 years with experience in response, armed policing and neighbourhoods.
Supt Warsop is keen to ensure policing continues to be shaped around the needs of local communities, with a focus on responding swiftly to incidents, maintaining a visible and accessible presence, and listening to residents about the issues that matter most to them. He believes strong local relationships, prevention and early intervention are essential to keep communities safe and improve confidence in policing.
